Who should pick Aigentik
Pick Aigentik if the job is on-device. Their site describes a visual infinite canvas on iPhone, iPad, and Mac; Apple Intelligence and Liquid AI running on the device, free and offline-capable, with no API keys required to start; and every canvas exposed as a Shortcuts action so Siri, the Action Button, time, location, or NFC can trigger a run without the app in the foreground. API keys, when you add them, stay on the device. That is a real product for people who want the graph to live on the phone, not in someone else’s cloud.
Stay there also if Shortcuts is the rest of your life: chain text, photos, and files in and out of the canvas, save to iCloud, export JSON to share a workflow. Aigentik says workflows themselves run while the app is in the foreground, with Shortcuts as the background trigger. We will not list fake parity on trading components, MCP, or their 16-block catalog — read aigentik.app.
Do not pick Aigentik (for this job) if you need the iPad closed and a cron still hitting Slack at 07:00. That is a different control model. Their FAQ is explicit that design is local and cloud AI needs the network; we do not claim they host your runs.
Who should pick AIFlow
Pick AIFlow if you want a simple on-device canvas that looks like n8n/Make, you run and test nodes in the app, and you want an n8n-compatible JSON export so the same graph can run at scale on your n8n instance. That export is the public wedge on their App Store page: design on iPhone or iPad, graduate the JSON to self-hosted or cloud n8n. They also list in-app HTTP, branching, email providers, Slack webhooks, Ollama, and MCP. Verify the current node list there — we will not invent it.
